1:6 Sclae Sherlock Holms and Watson

Too bad there are only 6 episodes a season of the BBC's Sherlock.  Loosely based on Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's legendary detective, this contemporary Sherlock is annoying and arrogant and brilliant and likeable all at the same time.  He is my favorite version Sherlock yet.
The most popular and recognizable of all locations associated with the series is Apartment 221B Baker Street.  Sherlock's residence.  Didn't realize how interesting the set was until a customer asked for a 1:6 scale version of the sofa and coffee table found in Sherlock's apartment for his Big Chief Studio Limited 1:6 Scale Sherlock (Benedict Cumberbatch) and John (Martin Freemon) figures.  Funny what you don't see even when you are looking.  I have been watching Sherlock for three years now and didn't really see the set until I started researching the details.

Requests for custom orders usually include images of the item the customer would like built.  This was the image I was sent:

The sofa has an army green look to it in this picture, but without filters the sofa is actually brown.

My 1:6 scale interpretation of the sets sofa and coffee table in full sunlight.

With filtered light:

The sofa is just the right size for the figures.  The guy who ordered the sofa took the picture below after he received his items.

The Sherlock figures come with a scull, violin, the jacket draped over the sofa and a few other items to make the set look real.  You can find the action figures at Lukes Toy Store.  The sofa can be found at my Etsy store MiniPlacesStudio.

For those of you interested reproducing the entire room the items below can also be made for you.

A few items that would be helpful to make this diorama.  The wall paper behind the couch:

The wall paper on fireplace wall

The scull above the couch.

An item to put in the bookcase.

Print found in Sherlocks bedroom.

A map of Great Britain

Pinterest is Sherlock fan heaven.  So many things to help you create your diorama.

Thank you for visiting.

Cheers!
